Boooo, no more footie for a few weeks, apart from the Euro Championships which I’m looking forward to. Had our end of season bash last night, great fun. Played the “legends” team early evening, think we won 6-nil in the end, was grand, really good to see a lot of old faces. Headed to the Snaffle Bit after, had our prizegiving in a wee corner of the pub with the rest of the clientele looking on, pretty funny… Got top scorer this year with 14, pretty chuffed considering the injuries and time away I’ve had. Our illustrious captain Inny was deservedly player’s player and recipient of the annual Most No-bad Moment award, for getting sent off for (almost) taking his shirt off after scoring a rare goal.
