Doesn’t that sound amazing! Now I’m not holding out much hope for anything verging on a victory, but to get to see a team like Bayern play at Pittodrie is properly brilliant. They’re missing a few stars, particularly Ribery and Kahn, which is a shame but hey, it’s still Aberdeen vs Bayern Munich.
This has been an amazing season to be a Dons fan, (well, sorta if you ignore league form) Madrid, Dnipro and Copenhagen being my massive highlights. Genius.

I love the Dons logo. Looks they let a Primary 4 class design it.

For years I thought the goal profile was the tail of a plane…couldn’t understand why they had part of a plane as their logo, just thought they were really happy with the local airport.

I prefer the one on the left. Jazzy! Makes my eyes go all funny and if you squint at it they move.

Nothing in those logos. Both dull and boring (Aberdeens more so) Lets compare them against that of Glasgow Rangers. Now that has class, along with national connotations – Lion Rampant. Those logos? nada. No imagination, again especially in the case of Aberdeen. Kinda relates to the way they play. Also how ironic is it that the ball within the logo is in the goal!?! When they couldn’t hit the side of the Great Wall of China. Looking at it again, maybe the ball has actually sailed wide of the goal?!

“Rangers Football Club reported first-half pre-tax profits of about £2.27 million, up from a loss of £1.21 million last year, thanks to its Uefa Champions League performance and market pool income, and the positive effect on ticketing and hospitality sales.”
No justice in the world.
